Decided to take it up a notch and run Brown at Wombwell Wood. Apart from the western part of the area which was nettle infested it was fairly pleasant. No major mistakes though a little rusty on the execution. Getting stronger; each run I do at the minute feels better than the last although I still feel there is a deal left to return yet, hills and terrain still feeling particularly hard work. However, now feeling well and truly 'Back in the Game!' :)

Up for a nice bre breakfast run on a beautiful morning. Did tire quite a lot after about 25mins after feeling pretty good again for the first 4-5km.

Down in S.Wales for a few days so went for a short run on Merthyr Mewr; well it would be very rude not to. Not orienteering all that well to be honest and felt pretty tired, didn't finish the course I intended and just had a walk to the top of the big dipper. Still always think of this place as lovely and runnable but it has really deteriorated. Largely scrub type cover now with a low level of buckthorn covering most of the area.
