Andy L kindly lent me one of his road bikes so picked it up this morning and headed out almost straight away. Was pretty nervous on the roads to start having not ridden a bike in years and having never ridden a road bike but settled in one out on the open roads. Out through Woodhouse towards Edwinstowe and was just plotting my route back when I hit a pot hole and both tyres burst. Of course no spare inners at this point but had thankfully taken my mobile. No signal though so half a mile walk and half hour wait for Amy to come to my rescue. No the best of starts to my road cycling exploits. 20km covered.
Physio - daily exercises to do and can return to some cardio but bike only for now to limit knee impact. Week off does seam to have done some good though.

Back to some light training; got to stick to the bike to reduce impact on my knee. Battled through half hour on the static bike in the gym.
