Ran the City to Surf! According to the big sign thingy, it took me 52mins, but it was 5 mins slow, as I had my watch on, so I'm sticking with 57!

So I was 45 seconds slower in total today, even though I arrived at Rapaki 1 min faster than usual! Why? Is it cause I had a restless sleep and got up early? Is it cause of my silly left ankle and foot? Is it because of my mysteriously sore shins? Is it cause I didn't listen to my magical running song 3 times like last time and only once? Is it temperature difference? Is it cause of my race on Sunday? Teeny race yesterday? Je ne sais pas!

Run to Wharenui pool for school duathlon. Noooo idea what my time for the swim was, but it was TERRIBLE! But thats ok, I'll be training

I was a lot slower on the bike this year, there was a bad headwind for the first 5km, and I need a road bike! Not to mention I hadn't trained for cycling at all :P

Came 29th overall out of individuals, better than last years 63rd, but I'm winning it next year!

I had a bit of a fight with a thorn bush up mount Oxford, and lost, and a fight with a wasp, and lost. I ran most of the time but I was quite tired! Walked a bit, particularly the steep bits. Ran home up my hill in Lyttelton, goodness that was harder than usual!!
