Lytt to Cass Bay. Felt good on the way there, ran there quite fast is 17mins- but took longer on the way back and just about died! Didn't stop once though, so that was dandy.

A truely timed bellydance session for once! Technique and warm up (a first for me to do at home. Good girl, Siobhan). hip drops, hip releases, vibrations, hip circles, full body circles, hip locks, body waves, undulations, diaphragm flutters, figure 8s, mayas, carousels, ribcage circles, ribcage figure 8s- possibly more.
Followed by habibi ana, amayguena, amayaguena drums, fever and lots of the 8th wave (fan veil dance). FINALLY getting the hang of the ending I think.

Quite a nice run, I didn't feel too tired but did get a burny feeling stomach at one point, and the last few hundred metres my shins felt REALLY bad... But then I got to the uphill home stretch and didn't really notice them, and they don't feel too bad now.

First run in a wee while. Got a weird sharp pain in my left achilles after about 3 minutes running, and had pain in my left leg before that (the one that had shooting pains while tramping.) Was a bit worried, but it went away. Quite a slow run, but that's how they start, isn't it?

Just practicing the 8th Gate dance. Getting there, wish I had bigger mirrors so I could see the veil better though.
