A bit of deja vu all over again...though I didn't have to fall off of a ladder this time. Surgery a week ago on the left Achilles to detach the tendon, take off the bad part, as well as the spur and the Haglund's deformity. Then put everything back together again. Overlapping with the recovery from June's surgery made the most sense, as did doing this before our holiday break from work. Speaking of work, I am approved to telework for the month of January. Will need to go in a couple hours a week at most.

Long term goal is to compete on Brown at the 2019 Boulder Dash.

For now, I am limited to scooting - here coming from the dog park to the car with the girls - Dee (Dorothy) and Pepper. They did not help at all!!



Dee joined our family in October, and she's around two, and she is energetic, funny, and very loving. Keeps us on our toes.





Don't you hate when the pleading eyes are looking right at you?!

For the last ten days, one of the highlights of my days has been reading PG's log, living vicariously.
