XC Skiing 1:51:52 [2] 15.09 km (7:25 / km) +337m 6:40 / km

Gorgeous winter day in the black forest. Ice cold, sunny and more snow than before - but still not a lot.
Tried out other tracks this time, first from Unterstmatt via Ochsenstall to Seibelseckle. Great track, lots of ups and fun downhills. Seems like my downhills skiing skills are slowly coming back (or my courage), was going them with a lot less snowplowing than the last times - fun :))
Then back from Seibelseckle via Mummelsee, shorter and a bit flatter, but a lot less fun. First part to the Mummelsee is mostly hard uphill and a short downhill ending on the road, then a bit of ski carrying over to the second part of the track. The second part could be nice maybe with good conditions, especially the first long downhill, but conditions there were at the best parts barely OK, the rest was bad to awful - simply not enough snow on parts of it and other parts were destroyed by all the walkers.
Felt good for most of the trip, but was slowly dying in the end and supertired now...

Turned my ankle 3 or 4 times while running on the snow on tuesday. Ankle was fine the next day, but I must have managed to irritate some muscles in the other leg/tight/hip in the process. Not really hurtful, but strange, irritating pain while walking from time to time over in the last days, so I decided to be careful and don't do any training on the still slippery roads/paths here. The fact that it's quite cold and the last days where super busy anyway made that decision quite easy ;)
Will start with some training again tomorrow or sunday...

Uni-o-training, running only again. Bit adventurious in the begining when we tried to go over a closed bit of the road, only to find out after climbing over 2 fences that the 3th one was too high - so back climbing over 2 first 2, then directly through the forest and over a bit of destroyed old wall instead., That action explains the slow pace, kms after that all were around 7:00 in average.
Relaxed one for me, relatively slow and not so long - also nice from time to time...
