Trot over to the Goatfarm with hilarity for another play on the structures.

Had eating fail yesterday and today, so a completely empty tank, to go along with a pretty big (for me) Friday and Saturday of exercise.

Spent most of the time working on balance basics so I can lift the front and back wheels the way I can on the Sedona. Starting to get the weight shift happening correctly - I have to be quite a bit more emphatic about what I want - I wonder if that's just part of the difference between dual suspension and a hard tail?

Also, definitely need to push the seat back.

Jeremy has had to recant his 'no-lycra' stance. Nothing like a 30+ km ride to let you know that lycra performs a specific and very needed function.

Failed to take my shoes to work today - must have spent the "remember to take shoes" braincells on finding the missing headlight and HR strap.

Shamefacedly admitted it to Hilarity who agreed to start a bit later from my place and go to Darlington and back.

As always, the trail played evil mind tricks on the way up and then revealed that it was actually a slope when we turned around and trotted down the hill at a decent-for-us pace with no effort.

A good run for how bleh we were both feeling.
