This was a "race". So I didn't really treat this one as a race at all. I slowly jogged most of the course and even walked bits of it. My legs had truly given out by this point

Did a little micro-O exercise on a 1:2000 map working on flow and punching technique. I quite enjoyed this one.

very good race - Oystein started a minute and a half behind me, caught and got a ahead of me by the 9th control. I got to the 10th control at the same time as him then managed to keep with him for the rest of the race.

UBC training course
first event of the weekend
pushed myself a little but as it was the first event and my first time running in ages I made sure not to push myself too hard.

not entirely sure what my time was - around 18min

map was quite technical and I had a bit of trouble sorting out all of the buildings. not the best race ever but it was all right
