1.2km to the start! Jogged with Troy and struggled to chat, breathe and keep up. :)

Long moderate course - glad I swapped down from the short hard! The moderate was actually tough enough on very little sleep, and steep to boot. In fact, there were several legs that weren't really moderate at all. I skipped 3 controls near the end of the course that formed a pointless loop uphill into yakkas because I was buggered! Great to be out orienteering again and to take Paddy to his first event. He got to hangout with Granny and meet lots of new friends.

Walked to the adventure playground to meet Andrea where we sat in the sun and had lovely chats with our bubs for a couple of hours and then walked back in the fading light and rapidly falling temperature.

M&D came around so that I could get out for a short jog/walk this morning in the sunshine. I did the same loop as Thursday, but with more jogging and so was 3 minutes faster. Still walked up the three steeper hills, though! Feeling very unfit and fatigued - go figure. :)
