Bit of a change with Kirsty. Out WoL to Currie and cut up towards Blinkbonny on nice wee backroads, back through the Dells and along canal.

3x1600m @5km pace (3mins), 3x150m (walk back). Hard work this morning with no hiding as just Sophie and I and windy on the back straight. Very consistent though, another one in the bag.

Gloves, tights, waterproof, long sleeve and buff - May in Scotland. Monsoon conditions, slightly better on the way home. The thought of a warm shower kept me going.

Dreghorn sprint. Proper controls for the first time since December (and March 2020 before that)! Only downer was it was Emit timing (had to go back multiple times) and the awful weather. Very tricky area and getting less rusty but still having to work to manage speed.

Long sprint out at the Pans. Bit too much straight running for my legs after big session last night and 2nd day gym DOMS but enjoyed the tricky bits and running somewhere new.

Wee trip down to the Borders for a nice run since I was off. Riverside trails from Netherdale with Sara. Feeling better than yesterday and managed all my training before the weather turned bad.
