BB. Mid-afternoon stretch, with a handful of short shuffles to test the heel. No issues while running. Who knows if there will be residual aches. Felt good to shuffle even a little bit.
Three Parks. Made a few tweaks to the route that minimized sharing the road with actual cars. Nice ride on a warm but dry day. Admittedly started to feel a touch of fatigue by the end.
BB/R3. Hot, breezy, dry. After being off the bike for a few days, the legs didn't feel very eager. But I got out there & that's always worth something. Unfortunately, I don't think the bike shoes are going to work. Foot is too wide and being crammed in the shoe triggers a lot of metatarsal pain.
BB. The weekend riding plans got destroyed by microwave installation. Managed to get out the door for a short (and very hot) ride. Feet weren't happy in the cycling shoes today. Bleh.
BB/R2. Lunchtime ride. First with the new shoes, which definitely make a difference. Felt generally ok. Not exactly full of pep, but not terrible either.
