Saturday trails with TREX. Good group - a number of first-timers. With Larry leading, the pace stayed solid throughout. Felt pretty good. The shin was a bit achy, but nothing bad. Ab/hip started talking to me at the very end. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.

Early morning Hermann loop to test the shin. Bad news: it's still kinda achy. Good news: I don't give a crap. Legs felt rested and lively, and everything else was trouble free. So I'm going to baby the shin but keep running.

Going to give the shin a couple of extra days rest. Now that I seem to have turned the corner with the abdominal / hip issue, I don't want this one to become my next chronic malady.

Afternoon trails. Met Chris for a relaxed afternoon run on the trails. Pleasantly warm day. Legs a bit tired, but not bad overall. Shin needs a day of rest though.
