Saturday trails with TREX (sort of). Met the 7:00 a.m. group (a sizeable one this morning) for the first time in a while. Mariela's announced intention of heading to The Triangle didn't exactly fit with my plan, but I went along and it turned out fine. 7 x 5-minutes running with 2-min walk intervals. Managed to keep the group in sight for the entire Triangle loop & then finished up on my own on the utility easement and Yellow. Very good little run - tempted to stay out a bit longer, but resisted.

Hermann loop. Bumped it up a bit this morning. 5 x 3 minutes with 2-minute walking intervals, and a 4-minute run to close it out. Felt good. This was the first session that felt more or less like a workout. Will hit the trails tomorrow for some 4 & 5-minute intervals over maybe 45 mins or so total.

Hermann loop. Repeat of yesterday but consistently 2/2s, except for the end. 7 x 2:00, 1 x 3:00, 2:00 walk in between. Felt very good. Focused on quick turnover and form during the running portion. Tomorrow, bumping up to 3:00 running intervals. Saturday - whopping 4:00 intervals!

Hermann loop plus. 8 x 2 minutes running at a fair clip with 2-3 minutes walking. Felt good. So out of shape that the whole affair seemed almost like intervals or speedwork or something. Still, the shin felt solid and it was nice to work up a decent sweat. Repeat on tap tomorrow.

Hermann short loop. 7 x one-minute running with 2-minute walking. Pushed the pace on both the walking and running a bit. Felt fine. Ready to bump it up tomorrow.

Hermann short loop. 6 x 1 min. running. Probably a whopping .75 of a mile. But everything felt fine. Will repeat tomorrow and then double it on Wed / Thurs.

Hermann Park with 6 x :30 running scattered throughout. Adds up to a whole 3 minutes of running! Tomorrow - going big with SIX minutes of running.
