Running 1:20:21 [3] 7.25 mi (11:05 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 295

Saturday trails with TREX. Good group this morning - split into two - one more relaxed, the other not so much. Solid pace pretty much the whole way when viewed in the context of the heat/humidity this morning. Pretty brutal. Got what I came for, which was to burn the legs out a bit.

Walking 48:15 [3] 3.2 mi (15:05 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Friday morning walk. Warm & humid. Kept a fairly steady pace. Enjoying the Friday-morning walk thing.

Running 25:53 [3] 3.3 mi (7:51 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Problem with watching a bunch of FloTrack videos before you go to bed is that you wake up thinking you're freaking Ryan Hall or something. The other problem: everything felt good at the start, so the first 1.5 miles was at a stupid, stupid pace. By 2.5 I was hanging on for dear life. By mile 3, the legs were spent. Still, it was good to leave it all out there for the first time in a while.

Running 27:44 [3] 3.3 mi (8:24 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Focused on a consistent, controlled pace throughout. Not as schizo as yesterday's effort. Did focus on quicker turnover for the last quarter mile or so, but otherwise, very level effort. Seems to be a little warmer in the mornings for the past couple of days. Whatcha gonna do?

Running 27:19 [3] 3.3 mi (8:17 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Had originally planned on the little 2.3 mile sprint, but decided to go "long" at the last minute. Muggy morning (of course), and I wasn't feeling all that spry, but I pushed nonetheless. Perceived effort felt greater than yesterday, but the time was a hair quicker, so not a bad tradeoff.

Running 27:43 [3] 3.3 mi (8:24 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Early-morning Hermann loop. Legs felt predictably heavy after the "big miles" of the weekend and the hot run late yesterday. But other than that, everything felt pretty solid. Tomorrow: last of the super-short 2+ milers.

Running 33:37 [3] 3.2 mi (10:30 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 295

Sunday afternoon trail run. Hot as hell, but generally a pretty good little run. Dealt with the heat a bit better than a week ago.
