Running 50:54 [3] 5.0 mi (10:11 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Afternoon trails - green out and back. Hot and dry. Feet were good enough, although the neuroma fired up just a little over the last mile. Nice to get out on the trails again.

Running 25:51 [3] 3.2 mi (8:05 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Feet were a bit sore today, but nothing new or significant. Tried to pick it up a little over the last half & start to feel like I'm actually running again.

Running 26:57 [3] 3.2 mi (8:25 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Most consistently comfortable run this week. Started off with about 10 minutes of no significant aches in either foot. The neuorma discomfort came on for about 2-3 minutes after that and then faded into a dull, very manageable numbness the rest of the way. Ran freely pretty much the entire time. Off tomorrow & then we'll see what the next few days bring.

Running 27:22 [3] 3.2 mi (8:33 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Hermann loop. Figure I'll keep running until the foot (or feet) tell me otherwise. Slow start, as the trail along MacGregor is all torn to shit and none of the lights are working - had to pick my way through some sketchy spots. Neuroma talked to me a bit for maybe the first 10 minutes before fading into the background. Actually, the left big toe hurt more. Will ask the doc about it on Friday. Oh, and get this - it wasn't only not brutally hot, it wasn't even warm. In fact, it was [ready for it] cool!!!

Running 38:28 [3] 3.8 mi (10:07 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Trails. If anything, the foot felt even better today. At the end, there was essentially no discomfort from the neuroma and I was running very naturally. Warm, but dry and not at all unpleasant afternoon. The brutally hot days might not be completely over, but change is in the air.

Running 32:28 [3] 3.2 mi (10:09 / mi)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara 2

Trails. Not bad. The the foot was significantly improved today. The neuroma "sensation" was there, but it never even progressed to numbness in the toes. News: I'm still horribly out of shape. Oh well, baby steps. Just happy to manage something two days in a row.
