Terry Hershey. Started this one feeling really crummy. Tired, GI issues, etc. Took it super slow for the first couple of miles until things started to turn around. From that point on, it was a solid time-on-the-feet outing. Managed the heat well & generally only walked at street crossings or other similar such mileposts.

Hermann short + Braes. Took it super slow, even mixing in a bit of walking, as the legs felt really dead all day yesterday.

Hermann-Rice long. Oh boy, this one hurt. Started out feeling predictably dead legged from yesterday's run. And, it was hot as Satan's rectum. But a couple of miles in, the goal of going sub-52:00 crept into the head, and thus began some real discomfort.

Hermann. Easy jog for the first mile, then 1 mile at 7:17, quarter-mile rest, second mile at 7:03, rest and 3/4 mile jog back. The second mile was particularly hard - came close to blowing up toward the end, but managed to hold it together. On a depressing note, somehow my two Hermann-Rice routes are measuring 2/10ths of a mile shorter than I've logged them. Mapped them on the same site quite awhile back, but it's coming up different now. Going to use to new distances as motivation to run harder.

Hermann-Rice long. True mid-summer heat this morning. Generally felt fine, although had a bit of GI distress during the middle couple of miles. Also, copious amounts of sweat.
