Terry Hershey. Pretty good Saturday run overall. Very easy pace most of the time, and over the last 3 miles I added a number of short walk breaks as a sort of preventative measure. Didn't want a repeat of last week's meltdown. New pair of shoes provided a comfy ride too!

Running 43:46 [3] 5.2 mi (8:25 / mi)

Hermann + double Braes. Felt good at the start, crummy in the middle, and good again at the end. Whatever. Kept it easy, even though I changed my mind about how far I'd go like 5 times during the run.

Hermann-Rice short. Super hot and nasty this morning. Calves were tight and the legs didn't have much pop, so I just sort of slogged through this one. Trying to keep everything pretty easy this week.

Running 1:03:13 [3] 7.6 mi (8:19 / mi)

Hermann-Rice long + Braes long. After such crappy runs over the weekend, I was a bit concerned going into this one. But it turned out pretty good. Legs felt lively and nothing ever felt very difficult. Solid end to a month where I actually executed a plan pretty much spot on.

Hermann + Braes. OK, it's definitely time for a couple of days off. Started out fine, but 1.5 in, the heat really started to wear on me, despite the fact that I was taking it slow with a fair number of short walks. Pretty sure I dealt with a fair bit of heat exhaustion yesterday, which can make you particularly sensitive to heat for days afterwards. Sweat in buckets today & felt far more wiped out than I should have afterwards.
