Running 57:29 [3] 6.5 mi (8:51 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow 2 Blue

Hermann-Rice long. It wasn't a zero day. That's the only positive thing I can say about this one.

Note
(rest day)

Decided to rest today. Give the little aches and niggles a rest. Plus, just mentally not into dealing with the heat right now.

Running 49:28 [3] 5.8 mi (8:32 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow 2 Blue

Hermann-Rice short. Weird run. Couldn't get the legs to turn over early on, then they started to feel oddly disconnected from the rest of my body. Then I got a little dizzy - not pass out dizzy - more like vertigo. Then, after maybe 3 miles, everything started to feel okay (save for some assorted aches and tight spots). The girls have had the crud this week, so maybe that's it. Or the crummy night's sleep. Or just an off day.

Running 54:02 [3] 6.5 mi (8:19 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow 2 Blue

Hermann-Rice long. A day off and a bit of breeze made a difference this morning, as things slipped into a nice groove - not especially fast, but super solid. Bypassed the intermediate water stop around Rice for the first time all summer!

Note
(rest day)

Planned zero day.

Monday Sep 9, 2013 #

Running 59:12 [3] 7.1 mi (8:20 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow 2 Blue

Hermann-Rice long + Braes. Sort of a weird run. Once the legs warmed up, I had a couple of really dialed in miles. Then, just as quickly, the energy waned and the last few miles were sort of sucky. Not terrible, but just not great.

Running 49:23 [3] 5.8 mi (8:31 / mi)
shoes: Brooks PureFlow 2 Blue

Hermann-Rice short. Big-time mid-morning heat and humidity. Kept things slow and easy. Not a terrible Sunday run.
