Running 1:01:30 [3] 6.0 mi (10:15 / mi)
shoes: Altra Olympus

Ho trails. Endless / Green out and back with Chris. Another test of the quad. Went fine - everything felt very solid. Kept a relaxed pace. Typical bs chatter helped the hour pass really quickly. Nice to have a non-solo run for once.

Running 43:55 [3] 4.2 mi (10:27 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann. Since the quad was completely silent yesterday, I decided to give it a test. Lots of short walk breaks (20 secs or so) mixed in with running at normal effort. Felt pretty solid overall - just the faintest hint of the quad beginning to come through at the very end. Play tomorrow by ear and take Sunday off.

Note
(injured)

Resting the sore left quad. Doesn't hurt walking around or even climbing/descending stairs, but there's a sensation of weakness that tells me it isn't close to 100% Taking another day off and will try some short, slow running Saturday to see where it's at.

Running 55:02 [3] 6.5 mi (8:28 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann-Rice long. After a session with Gale yesterday, I was hoping for some progress on the post-HH aches. And, for the most part, stuff felt improved. Save for the stupid left quad, in which a dull ache persisted throughout. At about mile 5, the dull ache became more acute and I decided to slow down and shorten what was supposed to be a 7.5 mile run. With big miles scheduled for next week, I may rest it another day or two - issues in the big muscle groups can take awhile to heal & the daily mileage this week is pretty much irrelevant to the big picture.

Running 55:02 [3] 6.4 mi (8:36 / mi)
shoes: PureFlow 2 DayGlo

Hermann-Rice long. Back at it. The quads (especially the left) are still somewhat sore. And the legs weren't exactly full of pep. But, they weren't dead either. Session with Gale after work will hopefully move things in the right direction.

Note
(rest day)

The left quad is sore to the touch, so another zero is in order.

Note
(rest day)

Post-HH rest. Kinda sore, but the foot doesn't hurt at all, which leads me to believe it's definitely a neuroma-related issue.
