Hermann. A short effort after the longer weekend stuff. Brutally nasty, breezeless morning. Truly the dog days. That time of year where you start to see the cross country runners and the marathon groups popping up, which tells you that fall is not that far away. But the conditions say otherwise.

H/RL/BL+. Off leash, "long", and somewhat more intensity than usual. Felt pretty decent overall. Did a lot of running around the Rice loop, including 1.25 nonstop (woo hoo). Definitely pulled back over the last couple of miles because it was hot and I didn't want to be totally cooked.
