H/B. So stinking hot. Overall, a decent effort, but the right foot is an issue. Time to see a doc, I think. Sigh.

Walking 36:23 [1] 1.73 mi (21:02 / mi)
shoes: Escalante 1.5 - Neon

Dog walk.

Running 48:18 [2] 4.2 mi (11:30 / mi)
slept:6.75 shoes: Topo Fly Lyte 3

Hermann. Rolled in very late after a work trip, but managed to get out the door on a brutally hot morning. True dog days. The only hopeful sign is the smooth-as-dolphin XC runners starting training. Fall can't be too far away.

Walking 36:20 [1] 1.7 mi (21:22 / mi)
shoes: Topo Fly Lyte 3

Dog walk. Hot dog walk.

Running 56:00 [2] 4.4 mi (12:44 / mi)
slept:7.0 shoes: Escalante 1.5 G/Y

Lake Grapevine. A really nice outing with Chris and Gordy on their home trails. Good stuff back there. First run with Chris (or, hell, anybody) in a very long time. Forgot how nice the social aspect of running could be.

Running 48:59 [1] 4.2 mi (11:40 / mi)
slept:8.0 shoes: Topo Fly Lyte 3

Hermann. Hot. Back to the norm. Felt decent overall. Think the Fly Lite 3's will work in the rotation long-term.

Hermann. Pretty much normal effort. Legs definitely not spry, but it wasn't terrible.
