/ORiENTEERiNG» race (Ottawa A Meet-Middle M21 ) 39:57 [4] 4.9 km (8:09 / km)

Taped my ankle and ran very easy to make sure to not roll it again, with the sprint and long still ahead.

/ORiENTEERiNG» race (Ottawa A Meet-Sprint M21 ) 13:53 [5] 2.6 km (5:20 / km)

I made no significant mistakes on the routes I chose during the race, however, in total, i lost about 40-60 seconds in route choices.
A good example would be #10. One of the shortest legs, and i went to the right instead of left - at least 10 seconds right there.
#9 was a primary example of bad route choice too. If i did take the time to go straight through the passage and run around the fense which stretched to the right, i should have went right around the 2 buildings instead of bending out all the way back left to the road. Pointless zigzag.

Anyways, it is good to see world-class elite performance; something to work towards.
