Orienteering 1:09:47 [4] 8.2 km (8:31 / km) +145m 7:49 / km

Lovely area; very runnable and fast with a few more complicated parts but nothing too difficult.

Run went OK, but should have been at least 8minutes faster, if not more, but i suppose we can all say that at some point!

Very hesitant at number 3 and then number 4 too. Unmarked tracks confused me at number 7.
Number 10; the shortest leg, took me 8:02!! ARGHHH - worst possible mistake, cost me dearly, very annoyed as not making this mistake could have possibly made me 4th?? meaning more, urgently needed FCC points!

Positive: i know i can keep up with 'the best', just need to eliminate my
mistakes and keep up training. :)

Warm Up/Down 15:00 [2]

Jogged to the toilets, back to the car, and then off to the start. All equalling about 1km approx. Then did stretches.
Little warm down - probably a bad mistake!

Orienteering (JOK Prologue) 29:35 [3] 3.3 km (8:58 / km) +90m 7:53 / km

Not good!

Quite nervous before the start, but knew what i needed to do. Went against that and got myself distracted which cost me a couple of minutes on the way to number two. A few other hesitations and 'off's' after that led to the loss of another couple of minutes. Finished well down.

Nice area though - very runnable!

Orienteering (JOK Chase) 25:48 [4] 3.7 km (6:58 / km) +80m 6:18 / km

A lot better than the prologue, managed to concentrate a bit more; having people to tag onto especially helped!
Managed to push myself up quite a few places which i was very pleased with as i worked quite hard.
My extra kick at the end meant i was able to keep two places above two girls that started after me which was also good :)
Enjoyed this one a lot more (Y)

Two warm-ups and warm-downs. Probably should have warmed down more though!

Same as the other days in the week :)

Running 27:08 [3] 5.07 km (5:21 / km) +110m 4:50 / km

Up into Little Wold Plantation, only doing one circuit as didn't want to overdo it before the weekend :)
Felt good and enjoyed the run.

I have enjoyed the week off from school because of the better runs i've been able to do. Just wish everyday was like that!

Warm Up/Down 15:00 [2] 0.84 km (17:51 / km)

Same as Tuesday and Monday. Slightly longer spent on stretching :)

Running 40:17 [4] 7.32 km (5:30 / km) +170m 4:56 / km

Went to the same place as Monday and Tuesday but did a slightly different and longer route.
First lap was the same as normal, did the second backwards and then we did a little bit more on the end to take us uphill and back through the wood again.
Felt really tired in the legs tp begin with, but after the first lap I started to feel amlot better and more energetic :)

Strength (Wobble Board) 25:00 [2]

20 minutes on the wobble board.
5 mins doing other ankle exercises.

Should do more ankle strengthening exercises!

Rest from running today as i stayed at a friends house last night. Also have got football training later on. Will be going out tomorow with dad again i think :)

Really good session. Had a match at the end against some year 10 boys, they got extremely frustrated fter they realised we were acyually good and not a group of pansyish girls!! :P (it was a draw, 0-0)
Bad side; boy kneed me in my quad and now it really hurts! Have iced it lots, so i hope it will be ok :)

Tuesday Feb 17, 2009 #

Same run as yesterday with Dad again. Was gooood :)

Warm Up/Down 10:00 [2] 0.84 km (11:54 / km)

Jog to and back from the starting place and also stretches. Same as yesterday again :)

Monday Feb 16, 2009 #

Running 36:45 [3] 6.8 km (5:24 / km) +160m 4:50 / km

Run with dad up into the woods (little wold plantation), with two loops.
Really enjoyed the run as it was a lot different to my road runs (which i don't particualary like). Felt tired near the beginning after going up the big hill, but after thaat all was ok until we had to go back down the hill which was very muddy and slippy :P

Good run - slightly too hot though.

Warm Up/Down 2:00 [2] 0.8 km (2:30 / km)

Slow jog to the start and back from the end of the run.

Also did stretches before and after.
