Orienteering 1:23:52 [3] 9.0 km (9:19 / km)

I had a pretty clean course at HR. I didn't feel I was moving too quickly but I did feel good about my navigational choices. Everything was spot on except for one error which cost me 2-3 minutes. For a 9k course I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I got rightfully beaten by some better orienteers today also.

Running 1:05:00 [4]
shoes: Nike Pegasus A

A negative split run on the drive. I was going out faster than I wanted to at first so I slowed it down but it made it alot more difficult to run back faster than I ran out. I was very focused on the way back and every time that there was something to distract I refocused shortly after that. I hardly remember any of my surroundings so my plan worked. The run went by very fast and I was averaging 5:55 pace for 30 minutes which is pretty good for me at this point. I can't remember another time when I would've been able to do this in my running career except maybe at my highest peak so this is a good thing.

Running 1:05:00 [3] +122m
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline- D

An easy run on the drive with 6 20/40s in it. I've decided to stop putting my distance/pace on here because I'm finding it very difficult to let myself run at an easy pace on the days I need to when I'm thinking constantly about the distance I'm running. I was feeling pretty tired today so I think a rest day is in order for tomorrow.

Running long (Trails/hills) 1:20:00 [3] 10.32 mi (7:45 / mi) +457m 6:49 / mi
shoes: Nike Pegasus A

A nice easy long run in the WV park. I did not feel like moving before the run and was questioning whether I would really be able to get out there for it. I took a shot of caffeinated energy gel and my muscles did feel slightly rejuvenated. This lasted as far as 50 minutes into the run and then my legs started feeling heavy again. Overall it was a good fun day. The heat and humidity was nice because it preps me for hot races. Yoga for an hour.

Running 1:05:00 [3] 8.5 mi (7:39 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline- B

An easy run on the drive with 12 30 second hill repeats placed in the center of it. I was feeling alot better after making sure that I went at a relaxed pace on the drive. Core O'clock.
