Same route as monday but this time i was oin my own and didnt take any wrong turns. felt quite bad when i was coming back along the middlewood way, probably because i had only eaten a small breakfast all day.

5 of us were driven up to the leather smithy and we were going to do the same route but me and heather were going a bit faster tha everyone else so we went straight up the road, up the forest bridleway and up a small path to charity lane. then down charity lane to forest chapel and around the road to Standing Stone then back into the forest and down to the visitor centre. Along the road for a bit then left around the lake and across the dam back to the smithy.

Went for a long ride with Mark
My dad said it was only 35km and i shouldn't of believed him, but it wasn't too hard.
We went up to marple, along the canal to Whaley Bridge and then up past the errood resoivoirs to the Cat and Fiddle. then Down through Macc forest and back alopng the middlewood way and down anson road and towers road.

Ran Blue which had no paths on the map because it would have been too easy otherwise.
Got my map the wrong way round on number 21 and got to the wrong road, lost 3 minutes to my dad on that control
Dont know where i finished but it was raining all the time and the winner did about 43

Cycled from teggs nose and was going to do the first half of the Grit and Gears route, but about halfway down charity lane my rear tyre split and there was no way to repair the inner tube. Had to walk back along the roads.

i think it is either more than a bruise or just fatigue
but it hurt everytime i put my foot down

Day 2 of the Saunders
managed to catch Rosie and Graham up the walna scar road, but then i fell over and now have a huge bruise on my leg. thay got pasdt us again and then we were on our own all thr way down to the last control where we met 2 othe teams and went past them both, one of them started 5 minutes ahead of us so we managed to move up a place.
Finished in 5th overall, 29 mins behind the Allens
