Walking (/jogging) 30:00 [1] *** 3.0 km (10:00 / km)

Put out the yellow course, then put out the 3 in the first field.

Walking (/jogging) 20:00 [1] *** 2.0 km (10:00 / km)

Went backwards round the yellow to pick the controls up, at least 2 inches had fallen on some of the boxes and that was about the time we were supposed to be starting, it was probably a good thing that it got cancelled because somebody would have hurt themselves on the ice, then got frozen, then they wouldn't have been able to get out of the car park anyway.

Running 54:02 [4] 10.82 km (5:00 / km) +137m 4:42 / km
ahr:201 max:216 shoes: New Balance 875

ran with my Dad on a slightly different route from normal, was a bit faster and longer than i usually do, but he wasn't going as fast as he could because he hasn't done anything all through the holidays so it wasn't too bad.Good route and we didn't need the torches in the end, we only just got back onto roads before it got too dark.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 0.5 km (20:00 / km)
shoes: New Balance 875

Ran around the block and did some stretches, needed it because i had run harder than i had in a while.

Walking (Snow and Ice) 5:00:00 [1] 12.0 km (25:00 / km)
shoes: New Balance Trail 874

Walk above Shap on the ridge between swindale and wet sleddale. Was difficult to stay on top of the icy crust because it would only hold me if i had my foot flat and everytime i went through it scratched the sides of my legs. Wouldn't have put this on if it hadn't been so much more difficult lifting my leg about 10 inches higher than normal every step to get out of the snow.
