Orienteering race 54:41 [4] ** 7.1 km (7:42 / km)

Penrith, I had shin splints for the first have so was struggling to get running at all, then by the time my legs were properly warm I had nearly finished so only the last bit in the estate was anything like normal speed.

Running 1:26:00 [3] * 16.0 km (5:23 / km) +400m 4:47 / km
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talons

Macc Harriers 'Night-O' It was basically a score event on a blown up 1:25000 OS Map, with 18 minikites and pin punches out. We came second, with 15 points, winner was 16, but if it hadn't have been a pairs event I reckon I could have got them all. Ran with my Dad, who seemed to be in mountain marathon mode all the way around, and did not want to speed up or trust my navigaion at all, hindering our progress.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Warm up around the roads.

Running 21:00 [1] 2.0 km (10:30 / km)

Oregon circuits, basically run around a square and every so often go into the middle and do some strength excercise. Quite often 20-30 squats followed by scissors and pressups. Not really very physically hard. 3 by 5 mins 'High intensity' with 3 mins jogging in between.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)

Out through the park and back along the roads.

Orienteering race 46:16 [4] *** 6.2 km (7:28 / km) +255m 6:11 / km
shoes: Inov -8 O-Rocs

Clowbridge, easy area, I was extremely slow through the scattered trees as I couldn't run in the tussocks but on the better ground I was going well, although my thighs could feel yesterday in them. Still came 2nd to Carl.
