UNO club meet/champs at Beaver Brook on a very wet, warm day, mostly due to hard work of Magnus family (even a blue course). Red could have been an option but expected 50' or so on grn seemed enough considering wx. Had a good run, maybe 2' mistakes. A few controls were evasive but I seemed to find them w/o much time loss - usually due to limited visibility, contours not so very apparent, thickish pine/green. Mtg afterward. BD'09 at BU/Sargent camp & Fox Forest. Some Bear Bk discussion, photos being sent to Scotland, basemap before next summer?
Note: course length listings said 4.9k for green but that seemed too long for time; careful, old-fashioned measurement gives me 4.1k, wish it were otherwise.
