Orienteering race (Wollaton park) 27:27 [4] 3.3 km (8:19 / km)
shoes: Blue adidas swoop 2

Woke up and felt like doing more orienteering which is a surprise :D
Had absoloutly no orienteering kit, had to borrow my mums running trousers and had to dig out a very old running top and shoes which stunk of bogs. Have to say this was a very good run in a long time, it seemed like nothing compared to the Scottish.

Orienteering race (Day 6: Ardchattan) 1:14:34 [4]
shoes: Blue adidas swoop 2

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I really don't think that was 75m of climb! After the walk to the start I was tired let alone my course. Messed up most controls after number 2. I think I took the Scottish a warm up for the French, haven't done a lot of orienteering for a while, think the last time was the Jircs. Looking forward to France :-)

Orienteering race (Day 5 Lochnell and Shenav) 1:08:43 [4]
shoes: Blue adidas swoop 2

I think this was the day when it was bogs?
If it was, it was a nice view to be running next to the beech. The only downside was all the bogs on your route. The first few controls were fine apart from I got my foot stuck in a fence and hurt my wrist :( I ended up falling and getting stuck in every bog I went past but the most dreadful one, was the one which I had a control in and ended up going for it and jumping in it not knowing how deep it actually was and it came up quite high and fell back and mucked up my only running trousers! But other than the bogs it would of been totally fine and I would of had a lot quicker run :D

Orienteering race (Day 4 Torinturk ) 1:33:32 [4]
shoes: Blue adidas swoop 2

Worst run I could of possibly had, messed up quite a lot of controls, didn't help with the heavy rain and I was frozen before I even went. Ended up running off the map and ended up quite confused, didn't give up and eventually found it. The beginning was absoloutly terrible, the bracken was taller than me and I couldn't see where I was going. The best bit was running down the hill to the finish :-)
