Run 42:25 [3] 4.66 mi (9:06 / mi)
ahr:139 max:153 shoes: New Balance 870G3

Road run in neighborhood near hotel. Not a real exciting route but was able to run in shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt. So that was good enough for me. Legs actually felt pretty descent today, kind of surprising. Front of quads started to tighten up a little towards the end.

I was not even thinking I was going to have time for a run this am. Got up early to do core work out. Showered was eating a little breakfast and got a call that our morning meetings got pushed back. So had a little extra time to take advantage of some nice weather to get in a morning run. Nice way to start the am.

Orienteering 16:00:00 [3] 42.0 mi (22:51 / mi)

POCAR, Norman, IN, Hoosier National Forest with Emily, Rachel, David, Garrison and Jeff. Super fun event in the woods with friends. Beautiful day, temps in upper 40's low 50's during the day. Nice change from MN winter. Had a light rain for a short period of time just before we finished. So was basically a non issue. Event was very organized and had great volunteers that were really having a good time and where very helpful. Through out the race we were a walking buffet, sharing of different race foods. Fun to see and share what other teams are eating for food. I think all six of tried at least one new variety of race food. Nice to mix it up. Great navigation by David and Garrison, everyone worked well together and had super fun time just chatting it up throughout the day. Lots of joking, laughing and positive encouragement throught the day. Great Day on the Trail with friends. So glad I was able get out and play.
