IOC Relay.

I went out in third leg mass start. I think I went off too relaxed yesterday which led to lazy running and lazy orienteering.
So today I went out quick enough and was actually up through the forest at the same pace as Colm which was cool. Struggled up to 4, had to walk a good but of that.
5 was a poor leg for me. It was going well and often when this happens I switch off. Didn't check my direction, didn't look up and pick anything out and ended up in some rough heather. Checked my compass and I was facing 90 degrees the wrong way, looked around and it all became so clear. Running the rest of 5 I was slow, having lost a bit of heart. ~ 4 minutes.
At 6 though I decided to pick it up again . Ran well and clean from there until 12.
At 13 I just ran and didn't make a plan, recipe for disaster. Came in too high as I hadn't checked anything on the way. ~ 1.30 minutes, stupid.
Ran strong up the track to finish but those mistakes were unfortunate. Was quite happy with the time though, shows my running mustn't be too far off the others. Just gotta gotta cut out those mistakes, practice will do that.
