Note
Extended moose hunting session under sunny skies and with zero wind. Found no moose, or even any fresh moose tracks, so in that sense it was a bust. But I did find three dogs, and one of them was wearing a green LED doggy light, so in that sense it was a total success. Overall, if I am objective and judge very critically, this moose hunt goes down as an extreme success.
After all, it's not every day you see a dog with a green LED doggy light.
In order to have a good moose hunt, it is imperative you start off thoroughly warmed up, and in order to get the engine spinning properly, I led off with some skiing.
I kept my guard up at all times for illegal, ever dangerous immigrants, since the word is they are out and about and everywhere, and that we are facing a dire emergency crisis, whatever that is. I didn't see anyone that I could reliably identify as an alien, but I did see several vehicles in the parking lot with Colorado plates, so vigilance was definitely not overkill.
