Park Run (#286 lakeview) 44:28 [4] 5.0 km (8:54 / km)
shoes: Black Asics

Wow this was a surprise but also a wake up call as to how badly I was effected (power for push off) over Dec and Jan. Improved by about 4 mins from 2 weeks ago. Even a little run downhill, but not too much. Beaut morning, excellent conditions.
Checked - 12 min reduction in time since early December.

Body Sculpt in name only. Tina's cross genres class BUT I did do 5 minutes of running (worked the system) and ankle held up well. Here's hoping.

Struggling big time with reality. Will be happy next week when Rachael gets back - then we can console each other. Hope she and Paul are enjoying the peace.

walking 45:00 [3]
shoes: grey/white

Finished off all the roads plus got some photography of eastern side of island. Sunrise wasn't very exciting, especially for my last day.

Paddling (SUP) 1:30:00 [3]

This was the BEST fun - since I learned to water ski. I had considered buying one, but wanted to try it. Flat water was harder than a little lumpy. Woo Hoo. Fun!

swimming (snorkelling) 1:30:00 [3]

Sunday Feb 26, 2023 #

Note

Came in from snorkelling and was drying off and just staring at waves. Watched woman feeding fish (as you do at Ned's Beach) and filming many fish swirling around her husband's legs. We could see, but she didn't, the1.3m long shark cruisin' along by then turn and come closer to shore then turn again and start to chase school of fish. It made a lunge at some and managed to deeply gash the male. He got quite a shock; limped out of water holding the top of the outside of his calf. Dropped to sand and was swooped upon by bystanders. Blood flow restricting measures imposed and help sent for - Dr and Patient Transport arrived about 10 mins later. Methinks he won't be seeing much of the island after that... and PLENTY of antibiotics prescribed.
