Downhill Skiing 3:30:00 [3]

Downhill at Whitewater. Hiked out to catch basin twice. Tiring!! But a blast. Not enough snow yet to cover the massive stumps and giant holes on the lower side of car-sized rocks. Scary!!

Gorgeous sunny day in good 'ol Nelson. Skied up Clearwater Fire Road. Track set. Steeper than Morraine lake rd. LOVED IT! First classic ski of the year. Yah.... now did I beat Nikki?

Red Mountain, Rossland. Skiing with Perks' boys. Lots of powder, steep slopes & tree skiing. FUN!!! But friggin' scary. Bit of billy-goating over small cliffs and down shoots. Boys are crazy! I was completely bagged by the end of the day.

Skiied at Lake Louise. Awesome early season dump of snow. Mostly fresh powder all day. Hiked up Hiker's Paradise twice. After weights & power yesterday my legs were killing!!

Ran from mailboxes to river rd 1 then bk up along top, down river rd 2 and back. LOVE my Kahtoola chains!! So nice to run on snow. Few deep spots felt like sand but rest of run was great. Gorgeous sunny day!! Ahh bliss...

Gorgeous run on road through conservancy. Long & easy on way out, picked up pace on way back. Wore Kahtoola chains and was easy to run on icy road. Can feel that my calfs and hamstrings are ridiculously tight. Need to stretch more.

Then rode Jackson .. but that doesn't count!
