2013 Easter Orienteering - Day 2
9:57 AM. Bendigo, Victoria. Burned 402 calories.
Course: M21AS 5.3 km 250 m
Day 2 and with the feeling of excitement because of my previous day's second place, i was able to start with a nervous slow pace. I picked up the speed until i had to cliimb the hill (it was a steep hill). It was good to see Luke T on the course and i should've stuck to him closer as my only mistake came as i didn't trust his height judgement against mine. So as Luke contoured well into #10 i climbed the hill to get a nice view form the top, then realise i was 4 contours too high. After that i caugt FernWerm and she followed me into #11, the final little loop saw me catch Luke T again and have him pass me in the finish split. I've never been that great at the finish sprint. Finished the day with a nice 2nd place again, and with a mounting pressure of 4min40 seconds to hold going into the final day.

2013 Easter Orienteering - Day 1
9:35 AM. Bendigo, Victoria. Burned 489 calories.
Course: M21AS 5.4 km 95 m
Day 1 was fast and really fun. I felt like i navigated to almost perfection i had three controls (#9, #10 and #20) that i didn't really plan to well for, but the rest was spot on. My pace was pretty good too! I ended up in second position behind the bandit of the sledge for this year (Glenn M), really pleased with my orienteering!

2013 Easter Orienteering - Prologue
11:24 AM. Bendigo, Victoria. Burned 356.7173 calories.
Course: M21E 3.6 km 105 m
Good fun race, really big mistake when i forgot to go to #3 until i was halfway in the scrub to #4. I haven't made a mistake like that for a while, glad i worked out i had missed it before i kept going any further. My course was fun and pretty fast, i think i navigated pretty well and accurately (other than the obvious stuff up. Result not too displeasing considering i was in elites.
