IOC long. had a bad run making some stupid mistakes but everyone else made mistakes too....was going about the same as everyone at 15 then i went 15-17 and spent 9mins on the control which made my time look really bad.....
2 - lost 2mins wasnt in contact with map and overshot it
had a few tiny errors but nothing to mention but then....
7 - lost3mins near the circle and had been beside it a few times....
was doing quite well after this getting controls quite well until......
15-17 - lost concentration at 15 and took a bearing from 16 to 17 at no.15.came to a hill with bushes on it and spent ages looking around there certain i was right cos i had gone about the right distance...many minutes later i realised where i was and got the control but didnt know how i went so wrong till after....
bombed the last few controls and spiked them all trying to get back time but i knew that 17 had cost me.then i found out at download i had missed 16 and mp'd.....bad day overall and really dissappointed i dint hav a good run.....

training on bull island. took a brown map with me from the last event. at the start the map didnt seem to make sense and then i realised i was on the wrong part of the map! after that was ok and good to get on some dunes before irish champs

session with clonliffe. did 6x300's and 6x200's alternating. got about 50secs for every 300 and 30-35 for 200. was fairly consistent and was happy but could have been quicker with spikes....
