The big muscle knot by the left SI-joint is getting smaller with each treatment. I also have a bunch of knots in my hamstring muscles (more in the left one). Gina showed me "the stick". Think I might get one of those but I'm using my wooden rolling pin for now. She didn't have any patient coming in after me so I took my time and asked a lot of questions. Like what I can do as I'm feeling sick without training, I need the endorphins, I need to sweat.. can't think of any alternative exercise where the glute/hamstring aren't involved..any ideas?
She said I can go for easy bike rides, do yoga, walk as long as I stay on flat ground, try some soft jogging on a track.
You can't negotiate with mother nature. If I would push it now, it would just jump right back, need to get these muscles back to a normal state as they have been acting wrong for a very long time. Continue with moist heat and stretching to flush out toxins. And ice whenever the muscles are acting up to protect the joint. Gotta behave and have patience. She says when this is fixed I'll notice my endurance will improve.

I've seen people who drive to a track and go for a walk around it and I've thought to myself "that's so lame". Well, here I am.
Went for a slow walk, stopped to stretch and ended with a grammy jog (not as in grammy-Lyn).
