trail run 50:34 [2] 9.8 km (5:10 / km)

Morning run, so nice to have trails just out the door. Trails had some crusty snow and some parts were loose and muddy, but I ran with o-shoes and it felt awesome. Sun was trying to shine through the clouds, very light snow falling. Had to stop twice, for some un-leashed dogs, Lulu & Emma.

Note

gröt, svett & klistervalla

Watched this documentary about the Swedish national xc ski team and got inspired, maybe not inspired enough to train for 2,5hrs in the morning and then another 2,5hrs in the afternoon every day like they do.. or yes I would if I could, if I had that opportunity.. talent, sponsors, trainers - what a cool life!

Thought about how the Swedish national team in orienteering probably trains just as hard even if they might also work part-time. Nobody would think of making a documentary about them though. Cause they aren't as public & popular. They don't get the cred they deserve. Still they work so hard which makes them even more impressive.

trail run 42:00 [2] 8.46 km (4:58 / km)

Left work at 4.40 and had time for a run at Maltby lakes before it got dark, pretty happy about that. Trail conditions: wet snowslush and loose mudd.

Note

A little sad that I wasn't able to listen to or see when the Swedes won gold in the xc skiing relay today. The Swedish radio & tv sports productions are very professional, powerful and touching. At home following the Olympics is huge, when the Swedes have a chance of winning a medal most people will drop what they're doing and gather around the tv or radio (even when they're at work).
It sucked being at work today when the Swedish guys won the first Olympic relay gold since 1988, with a blocked webradio, no tv etc :-(

bike 10:00 [1]

to & from the gym

strength (foam roller) 5:00 [1]

pilates 50:00 [2]

It's hard to get out of bed this early especially when the weather is so miserable, I try to find reasons not to go.. but still manage to get there somehow, thinking about how good it feels afterwards

walk 20:00 [1]

to & from the gym, more like a jog on the way there

step/sculpt 55:00 [2]

Missed the first 5min, 25min step (cardio), 25min strength with dumbbells, 5min stretch. I do not like jumpin jacks(on hard floors), I can feel the impact on my feet and knees.
