bike (cannondale roadbike) 1:02:21 [2] 25.47 km (2:27 / km)

Another beautiful day! New loop with Mike. Lots of little hills, an alpaca farm and a train graveyard, very cool.

trail run 54:29 [2] 4.62 km (11:47 / km)

Exploring the Westwoods trails with Mike, first time here. Started out hiking, ended up jogging (it was getting dark and we were getting lost). We had a lousy trailmap that wasn't corresponding to the trails. Picked up a much better one at Bishops Orchard for next time, this one even has contours and it shows that the area is really big. Nice terrain, we went by cool rock formations and caves.

bike (cannondale roadbike) 1:26:49 [2] 35.53 km (2:27 / km)

Morning ride with Mike, he wanted to try out his new bike. Beautiful, beautiful day!

bike (specialized mtb) 1:06:36 [1] 20.78 km (3:12 / km)

Bike ride number 2, together with Jesse & Katy. Stopped for lunch at Vanderbrooks.

ball sports (tennis) 1:30:00 [1]

We had planned an active day, so after a short coffee break we went to Trask park for some ball sports. Not my thing. We started out playing double and then we split up to single. This was my first time playing tennis so I really appreciated all the hints and help Mike gave me and after a while I kind of enjoyed it. A lot of running after the balls. So nice in the afternoon sun.

ball sports (basketball) 40:00 [1]

Mike & I against Jesse & Katy. Pretty rough game.

Then home to cook a delicious dinner and dessert. Card games & a movie. Great day!

strength (BOSU) 4:00 [1]

It was only me and the pilates teacher Rosalie there at first. She has a leg injury and we could share stories about how the doctor x-rays the bones and says he can't see anything, when most likely pain comes from muscle or tendon. Her doctor had also said: stay off exercise. That's not what we want to hear! If so give us a good explanation!
Anyone know of a good muscle sport injury doctor?

pilates 50:00 [2]

Poor Rosalie couldn't do much of the exercises with her injured leg. I can do everything and it feels good stretching, so why stop!?

run 30:03 [2] 6.67 km (4:30 / km)

Morning jog in New Haven. The spring feelings from yesterday was drastically gone with this cold snow/rain yuck.

Note

Went to see an orthopedic specialist to check my left hamstring/glute. Got to see him about 1,5 hrs after my appointment time. Felt like he was rushing. And I had to ask him to explain what he thought was wrong. Tight hamstring, lack of strength(?). So I should start seeing a physical therapist so he/she can figure out what I'm doing wrong + teach me strengthining exercises. AND he told me to stop with zumba & pilates for now :-( At the same time he said I could run as long as it doesn't hurt more during or after..? I'll keep doing zumba & pilates with the same philosophy :-P

trail run 48:54 [2] 8.85 km (5:31 / km)

Run at Maltby, one lap together with Siobhan, one on my own

trail run 17:52 [2] 3.4 km (5:16 / km)

Looking for Mike who came late, didn't wanna run too far along the loop though cause I didn't know which way he had gone and it was getting dark in the woods. Well finally found him by the cars.
