Lång-VM (Varbergs-mästerskap) D21

It was my original club, my parents's IK Dran arranging. An event with about 200 paticipants. Many familiar faces, club friends happy to see me and 15 cousins, aunts, uncles etc ♥. Great to see everyone! And funny, Jonas Kjäll was there, last time I saw him was in CA!

My uncle Ingemar had designed a challenging course in this tough terrain. Fun, fun, fun =) In some areas you really had to fight to keep on moving, deep marches & under-vegetation. I did some extra turns (on 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10). Think I should also join the collect-2000-controls-club!

Note

Arrived in Göteborg at lunch today. A last minute decision weekend trip to attend a friend's wedding Saturday. They live in Trondheim ;-) but the wedding will be in Varberg.

My sister and I went to cousin Jossan with husband and baby + her brother also came over to watch the WOC long final. Exciting! And just awesome hanging out!

When mom & dad, who were pretty involved in today's event, got back, we had a late night pickeld herring and boiled potatoes supper, yum!

Note

Left glute and where it connects to the lower back very painful today. Have had this issue for a few weeks, sitting down hurts and that's what I have to do all day at work. Ice, ibu and voltaren gel. Will give it a couple of days rest.

Jog to try to loosen up my glute/lower back. Late and getting dark so I went on the streets. Started on Valley St where you get a nice view of West Rock, it's a pretty spectacular feature! - then I ended up in the ghetto for a while before heading back towards Westville.
