Orienteering 40:00 [4]
shoes: Orocs

Ran up Arthur's Seat with Eric and followed him while he ran round the JOK Chasing Sprint prologue course. Training speed for Eric, hard workout for me despite a couple of corners cut!

Running intervals 55:00 intensity: (40:00 @1) + (15:00 @5)
shoes: Asics Gel DS 16 Red

Not sure what part of me thought it would be a good idea to do hill sprints again 5 days after stopping a run due to a pain in my right achilles. Still, headed off in new shoes, achilles tendons feeling great (memo to self - change shoes frequently). Good session but localised pain in right achilles from after the 4th rep. Finished the session and don't feel too bad after, but I do need to kick this. Lovely sunny the world is beautiful kind of evening.

Achilles tendons feel fine but through a second rest day would be a good plan.

Running 5:00 [1]
shoes: Asics Gel DS16

Right achilles sore all day. Was fairly sore setting off running. Stopped. Not interested in getting injured again. Should be OK - might take tomorrow off to be sure.
