Rolled from RI about 1am. Damn Monday mornings roll around too quickly...

Note
Suspecting the current aches & fatigue may be lingering lyme from June. Sent email to the Lyme specialist I saw in 2008-10 that cleared things up. Hopefully I don't have to wait 4-5 months to get an appointment.

Note
looks like my attempt at running daily from Thanksgiving to New Years has met an early demise. But heading out into the cold, dark rain holds no appeal. I'm going to bed...

Wet, slippery woods, some snow. Nice course, but not enough energy to run very much. A few minor niggles in the circle, but otherwise clean... just not fast.

Didn't really feel like running, or getting dressed/undressed/showering etc - so just elected to take a brisk walk to the lake and back. Cool & grey...

Original plan was Gay City with Strider crowd this AM, but 4F plus windchill I elected to wait for warmer temps. So an easy afternoon shuffle out to the lake and back.

9F, 'feels like' -2F. Dirt road to trolley trail, met Dom & Jake, came back. Elected not to run back side of Lake and came straight home on SLR. Ground is really hard, knees not happy.

New spot. Tried running Hockanum Trail in Manchester. Map showed trail on both sides of river, started out real nice for maybe 200m, then turned to crap vegetation before finally disappearing in a rubble field of fallen down mill buildings. Eventually got past that and came to a foot bridge across river, much nicer path on that side. Continued further toward TriCity, loop oh Jim Smith Island or something like that, then back around pond on south side. Trail eventually petered out into some backyards where it was pretty evident outsiders were not welcome, so bailed to the street and ran roads back to the park. Nothing special, but I got out. Hope to run tomorrow, but with negative windchill forecast for the morning, may have to wait until evening or take a zero. May try to do winter warrior challenge (unofficially), so taking a zero on day one probably wouldn't be so keen.

Traffic in Providence was downright stupid, so after dropping Jackson at the house I just went to hills in street clothes and walked a couple loops to at least have done something. Not the only walker, a couple striders on the DL list, so had a nice chat, then dinner at Beni's.
