in Maybeck again. hip felt the best since Euromeeting, if i'd known i'd be fine for reps i would have trained easier this morning! so i got tired quite quick but the beginnings of a proper hills training, something to build on. 3x loooooong hill, not v fast, then 4x1min or something hill, faster. then run about to find mum, who had the car keys (also hilly, no flat places here)

back in the forest! had meant to do a recovery run on tracks but ended up helping dad out with checking control sites for a race in a few weeks in Maybeck. Slow but nice and surprised by how runnable the forest was :-)

some bits of faster running today :-D not structured intervals but a mixture of speeds and distances, looking to have even technique. a bit tired but fine for the end of a busy week. wont be doing faster running so often for a bit longer, its been a loooonnngggg time since ive run intervals regularly so it needs some care. pleased with this though :-)

9x3min/2min cos it was easiest to measure on the clock, but i think i got some too short by accident. Worked nice and hard anyhow :-)

Change of plan. had a cba to walk to gym and back moment so just went out for another run. felt quite good in the end, sometimes forgot i have an injury :-D so extended the route again a little bit, some more hilly bits. definitely no running tomorrow!

extended last night's route. lovely afternoon, fist chance in ages of working on my sports bra tan lines ;)
stride still not quite even, so another no-running day tomorrow - would be crap to get injured somewhere else from running oddly. but getting better, feeling best going uphill!
