Swimming 1:00:00 [3]

Again I suffered and didn't enjoy the swimming training. I feel like swimming in "solid" water, and I am not only go very slow but I think I am not swimming in the right way.

Any recommendation for books/videos here? Total Immersion?

ATW - We need to postpone this kind of exercise until I get the all clear from the PT. She has given me alternative exercises but at the moment she recommends that I do not do this!!

Swimming (Baseline Measurement) 35:00 [3]

Move the training to Friday.
Friday: my body was once again completely stiff. I did suffer from the first minute till the last one and only managed to get to 650 meters. I was not physically tired but specially my shoulders and arms were as hard as a rock.
15 minutes - 650 meters

After this is was difficult for me to get any speed on the tests:
50m - 46 seconds
100m - 1' 44''
200m - 3' 42''

I think I should repeat this test in a couple of weeks!!

Running (Tempo Run) 35:00 [3]

Went for a run early before my PT appointment. Love it!! although realised that my trainers soles are wore out so I would need a new pair (if not two) of trainers...any advice there? I am a big Asics fan but happy to hear an recommendations. I am thinking about a pair for training and maybe a lighter one for competition and specific sessions.

Note

Swim: Disaster!! My body and specially my mind were not there at all, so after a while I decided to "call off the day" and do test today, Friday. I would be happy to hear your thoughts on this (i.e. me bending the rules a bit) :-D

Running 30:00 [3]

I did enjoy the run a lot. It was great to be out.
100s: didn't understand if I had to record the time. Sits ups: asked my PT and she recommend not to do them but we have now gone through an alternative exercise (much much slower if time counts!!). I assume we will have to repeat this test!!
