For the first time I enjoyed swimming. It was a beautiful day outside and the sun got through to the swimming pool :-D Pool was very crowded as 4 lanes were reserved (2 for ewz training and 2 for a 12-hour marathon!!).
The different drills helped me to get my mind away from swimming and into the drills. Enjoyed the fist drill. Right and alternate breath: disaster for the first 200, much better for the second one.
(Which Total Immersion book would you recommend to start with?)
Woke up with a cold: blocked nose, headache and muscle pain. I don't normaly get colds but I guess that the last two weeks (with little sleep) are catching up on me.
Feeling a bit better through the day but decided to move training to tomorrow.
1 mile - 6' 54'' - 107% Max Heart Rate
800 meters - 2' 58 - 110% Max Heart Rate
I found it quite difficult to get to the right pace, completely unaware where my running pace limits are. For both distances, I thought I could go faster, I was a bit frustrated after it. The 800 m to recover felt a bit too long, as was completely recovered on the first 400 meters.
Did the bike crunches on the PT session. She is quite pleased with my progress and I will discuss on Thursday if there is any need for me to carry on with the PT sessions.
Jump Rope: I thought that my arms and legs will drop off after the 10 minutes :-D

Thanks for suggesting this!! Attended the class and thought it was great. I really believe that this is going to help me a lot. Would once a week be enough?
