Jesus H... this is what happens when your body is still trying mightily to recover from surgery and you try to exercise. Your heart rate goes through the roof! I started at 9:00 pace and did the last 15 minutes at 10:00! And I still topped out over 180 freaking bpm. I am a wreck.

Oh man, I was not mentally ready for this...

I knew my body would not feel awesome but my heart rate was through the roof and my pace was very slow. I have lost a ton of fitness.

I started at 9:00 pace and just 20 minutes in my heart rate was over 140. :( By the end I Had dialed it down to about 9:50 pace and my heart rate was still hovering around 140. Sucks.

Let my heart rate get a little too high, all of a sudden I noticed it was 141 and I'm trying to keep it around 130.

I started out with an incline of 13 and resistance of 13, after this spike I dropped both to 12 and that helped.

Man was it CROWDED on the stairs today... not only were there lots of regulars, there were about 20 people training for the Leukemia Big Climb. Complete with aid station at the bottom and some guy with a PA system telling them how to train, stretch after, hydrate, etc., etc.
