Kayaking 2:45:00 [2]

On Winnisquam from Ahern to the N end of the lake and back. 12' Old Town kayak - very sweet. Might have been better in the 16' double kayak, a bit extra weight to move around, but more fore and aft stability and possibly faster (longer = faster??). Glad I wasn't in my canoe - with no keel, essentially a fast water river hull, it gets a bit challenging on the lake when there's much wind, especially going solo.

Had a fishing pole along, drowned a few worms, a couple of nibbles from sunfish, but nothing exciting.

Mid 70s, moderate breeze, a beautiful day on the lake. Quite a few submorons out, didn't get buzzed too close, but had to deal with large wakes a couple of times.

WIll definitely feel it in my arms and back tomorrow.

Bicycle (with trailer) 35:00 [2]

Ryan was on the verge of getting fussy, so I decided it was time to change from chasing him around outside and pushing him non-stop on the swing, and take him for a ride.

He's not too sure about the helmet, but doesn't fuss too much as it goes on. Put a folded towel behind his back so the back of the helmet doesn't hit on the seat.

Some back and forth in and around on the gilford hills area, just ebhind the house, then up Morrill St, down past the Stoen St little league field, and down GIlford Ave. Speed didn't seem to bother him much, and wasn't too zoned out.

Really hard to carry any momentum into uphills with the trailer behind the bike. Have to work them all the way from bottom to top.

Run (pavement) 22:00 [3] 2.55 mi (8:38 / mi)
shoes: Nike Air Assail Trail

At least I got out and broke a sweat. Right knee bothering me a little bit.

Not a lot of energy, and it went downhill as I was out. A bit too warm and muggy, although it did cool off into the evening.
