Long run from Bickford Road trail head. Up the Red Fire Road, cutover to the Blue (Rd Pond Link/Piper Connector), then the White Trail on to the S shoulder of Belknap. Down the Yellow E Gilford Trail.
Saw one hiker coming down the White Trail. Spooked up birds a couple of times. A lot of wet, with all the recent rains. Pretty good breeze.

HTFU session in the pouring rain at Gunstock. Contemplated blowing off doing anything, but decided to go for it. Was having second thoughts on the drive over, it was raining so hard. Figured I was going to sweat a bit and get wet anyways, why not get out and enjoy myself...
Reversed the Cobble loop from the main parking lot, out and back on 8, with the 7 trail loop clockwise at the S end of 8, then continued the Cobble loop.
3 chunks at threshold, or a bit faster. Last one was on a section with new wood chips down - soft footing, but hard to push fast on it.
One AOWN moment when I flushed 2 turkeys out of a tree right beside the trail. They are not the most graceful flyers, so there was a lot of flapping and thrashing around, which startled me a bit.
