RV Farms trails. A few patches of snow left, along with lots of dog droppings. Mud is not in short supply either.

Run intervals 5:00 [5] 0.65 km (7:42 / km) +125m 3:55 / km

5 X rope tow hill, walking back down.

last couple hurt, even with slacking off. Problematic footing in a few spots - a good excuse? Nah.

Hiking 3:30:00 [1] 8.9 km (23:36 / km) +900m 15:40 / km
ahr:99 shoes: Merrell Radius Hikers

Hiking at Gunstock - still some snow patches, but they were very firm as it was below freezing. Checking out potential snowshoe trails for next season - found some likely routes and flagged a lot of it.

Really like the upper section above trail 9 - area west of the knolll is open and runnable, some nice variations. Some spurs and reentrants falling towards where trail 7 cut across - also found another nice knoll.

Woke up and decided it was maybe time to go for a morning run - hadn't done it for a while, let's see what the legs think of it.

A bit stiff getting started, as was to be expected after yesterday's long jaunt, but overall not too bad. Nice to be out and about before most of the rest of the world.
