Hmm, it's cold, wet, breezy, miserable outside. Why not go out for a nice hour long run at the end of the day to decompress?
Loop around Opeche counter-clockwise. Just before the country club was debating turning around and doing an out and back, but there was a nice downhill section right in front of me, so kept on going.
Was pushing harder than I intended to, but was able to keep up the effort at a fairly consistent level.
Glad I had my contacts in so I didn't have to deal with fogged up glasses.
Was focusing to some degree on a neutral foot strike, rather than pounding down on my heels. Felt like my stride was shorter with a faster turnover than normal. Will see what my knees think about it tomorrow.
